The Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002 serves two purposes: to recognize that the people of Ontario are entitled to expect their drinking water to be safe and provide for the protection of human health and the prevention of drinking-water health hazards through the control and regulation of drinking-water systems and drinking-water testing. Enhydrous is a tool to assist system operators with management of water quality test results and the annual reporting requirements of the Ontario Ministry of the Environment.

In order to comply with Ontario regulation 632/05, it is necessary for employers subject to the regulation to develop and maintain a written program regarding how maintenance work is to be safely performed in all confined spaces within the workplace. The confined spaces tracker is a tool which assists with this task.
